SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                 =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=\n                        W.P.(C) No. 37781 of 2009\n                 =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=\n                 Dated this the 30th day of December, 2009\n\n                                JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>        Petitioner&#8217;s vehicle bearing registration No.KL-7N-1845 has been<\/p>\n<p>seized by the 2nd respondent on the allegation of contravention of the<\/p>\n<p>provisions of the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of<\/p>\n<p>Removal of Sand Act, 2001. The petitioner&#8217;s grievance is that by Ext.P4 he<\/p>\n<p>applied for interim custody of the vehicle, which has not been considered so<\/p>\n<p>far.\n<\/p>\n<p>        2. Heard the learned Government Pleader appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>respondents also.\n<\/p>\n<p>        3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this writ<\/p>\n<p>petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders<\/p>\n<p>on Ext.P4 application submitted by the petitioner for interim custody of the<\/p>\n<p>vehicle as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within one week from the<\/p>\n<p>date of receipt of copy of this judgment. The 1st respondent shall also pass<\/p>\n<p>final orders in the matter within the time limit prescribed under the Act and<\/p>\n<p>the Rules.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                        S.
