Respondents \n \n\n\tWrit Petition  is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of  Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 2.2.2011.\n\n\n\tFor Petitioner     \t\t:       Mr.M.Balaji \n\n\tFor Respondents   \t:\tMr.S.Shivashanmugam,\n\t\t\t\t\t\tGovernment Advocate.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t \n-----\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tWrit Petition  is filed praying to issue a Writ of  Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner&#8217;s representation dated 2.2.2011.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2.   Mr.S.Shivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate,   takes notice on behalf of the  respondents.     By consent of both parties,  the writ petition is taken up for disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The relief sought for by the petitioner is declined for the following reasons:-\n<\/p>\n<p>(i) The so-called representation does not bear the signature of the petitioner and the date also seems to be added along with pagination.\n<\/p>\n<p>(ii) There is no proof for despatch of the representation and proof of acknowledgment, even though the said representation alleged is dated 2.2.2011.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. It is therefore, open to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation in the proper format with proper acknowledgment to the appropriate authority and proceed in accordance with law, if he so desires.  On receipt of the representation, the authority shall consider the same   on its own merits and in accordance with law.\n<\/p>\n<p>  \t5.  The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
