Dhubri district is most backward in the country.\u00a0 72% of the population is still Below Poverty Line (BPL).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Naturally, restoration of the Dhubri-Fakiragram Railway line deserves utmost attention of the concerned Ministry.\u00a0 But adequate attention has not been paid to this matter.\u00a0Although gauge conversion works have been taken up but practically nothing has so far been made and budget allocation has been specified.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I earnestly request the Hon\u2019ble Miniser for Railways to restore Dhubri-Fakiragram railway line and bring Dhubri district on the Railway map of India.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Need To Restore Dhubri-Fakiragram Railway Line. \u00c2\u20ac\u201c Laid. on 12 May, 2005 an&gt;
