Singaravelan \n\n\t\tFor Respondents\t\t..\tMr. S. Sivashanmugam\n\t\t\t   \t\t\t\tGovernment Advocate\n\nORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tOriginal Application No.7874 of 1999 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the order passed by him in his Proceedings C.No.A1\/2115\/99 dated 14.10.1999 and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Head Constable by way of upgradation with effect from the date of upgradation i.e. 01.09.1999 forenoon. Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was transferred and numbered as Writ petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that the petitioner has undergone the punishment of reduction of pay by an order of the second respondent dated 30.07.1999. He further states that he may be permitted to make a representation to the first respondent to redress his grievance.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. Heard Mr. S. Sivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. At this point of time, if the grievance of the petitioner still subsists, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation to the first  respondents. As and when such representation is made, the first respondent shall consider and dispose of the same on merits within a reasonable period of time. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
