The petitioner has complained about the<br \/>\n                        caste certificate issued on-line by the State of Bihar<br \/>\n                        under the e-Governance project. The petitioner&#8217;s<br \/>\n                        grievance is that all necessary details are not<br \/>\n                        incorporated in the certificate and that there is no means<br \/>\n                        for a prospective employer to verify the correctness of<br \/>\n                        the certificate and that though the certificate is required<br \/>\n                        to be issued free of charge, the concerned authorities are<br \/>\n                        charging for the same.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                    We are not at all impressed that this is a<br \/>\n                        litigation in public interest. What should be the format of<br \/>\n                        a certificate is decided by the Government and not by a<br \/>\n                        Court of law. If at all any individual has any grievance in<br \/>\n                        respect of the certificate issued to him he can approach<br \/>\n                        the concerned authority or may avail of the remedy<br \/>\n                        available under the law. The matter can hardly be of<br \/>\n                        public interest.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                    The petition is rejected summarily.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                             (R.M.
