Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :16\/01\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                             ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n\n\n                   = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n                        W.P.(C) No. 1984  OF 2008 J\n\n                   = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n\n\n                     Dated this the  16 th January, 2008\n\n\n\n                                J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioners   had   participated   in   the   District   Higher   Secondary<\/p>\n<p>School Youth Festival.   For drama they were given the 2nd prize with<\/p>\n<p>A grade.     Unsatisfied with the prize,   Ext. P3 appeal was filed and<\/p>\n<p>that was rejected by Ext. P4.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. Although the petitioners reiterate the contentions in Ext. P3<\/p>\n<p>that the mike was howling and   light was inadequate, a reading of<\/p>\n<p>Ext.   P4   proceedings   of   the   appeal   committee   shows   that   the<\/p>\n<p>performance of the petitioners was relatively inferior.  It is stated in<\/p>\n<p>Ext.   P4   that   the   contents   of   the   story   was   not   clear   and   the<\/p>\n<p>conversation   was   not   appreciable.     It   is   also   stated   that   the<\/p>\n<p>conversation   was   mechanical   and   according   to   the   appeal<\/p>\n<p>committee these were the defects which led to the inferior ranking<\/p>\n<p>of the petitioner and not the reasons stated by them in Ext. P3.   In<\/p>\n<p>view   of   the   cogent   reasons   stated   in   Ext.   P4   by   the   appeal<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC No. 1984\/08                          -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>committee,   I   do   not   find   any   reason   to   upset   the   conclusions   in<\/p>\n<p>Ext.
