At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner,<br \/>\ndated 01.03.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified<br \/>\nperiod.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on<br \/>\nbehalf of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the<br \/>\nappeal of the petitioner, dated 01.03.2010, after giving an opportunity of<br \/>\nhearing to the petitioner, as well as to the other persons concerned, on merits<br \/>\nand in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of<br \/>\nreceipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of<br \/>\nthe appeal, dated 01.03.2010, to the first respondent, along with a copy of this<br \/>\norder. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not<br \/>\nexpressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tThe writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
