Justice THOTTATHIL B.RADHAKRISHNAN\n\n Dated :03\/08\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n            THOTTATHIL B.RADHAKRISHNAN, J.\n                   -------------------------------------------\n                   W.P(C).No.20862 OF 2009\n                  -------------------------------------------\n              Dated this the 3rd day of August, 2009\n\n\n                              JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The    petitioners     contend         that     their     application for<\/p>\n<p>enhancement of compensation invoking Section 28-A(1) of the<\/p>\n<p>Land Acquisition Act have not been answered in spite of their<\/p>\n<p>being given an opportunity of being heard nearly 1 = years ago.<\/p>\n<p>There is no reason why there is delay in the matter, particularly<\/p>\n<p>when the statutory approvals, if any, will only affect the State<\/p>\n<p>Exchequer. If orders have not been issued, the competent<\/p>\n<p>authority will decide the matter and issue orders within 45 days<\/p>\n<p>from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If orders<\/p>\n<p>were already issued and if those orders have not been<\/p>\n<p>communicated in accordance with law, that shall be done within<\/p>\n<p>a period of three weeks from now.
