Bareria\n\nName of the Public Authority         :       DSIDC, GNCT of Delhi\n         1\nFacts<\/pre>\n<p>:\n<\/p>\n<p>1.       Both the parties were heard today, i.e. 6th May, 2009.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.       In the course of hearing, the details of information asked for and the PIO&#8217;s<br \/>\nresponse were discussed. The PIO stated that a part of the requested<br \/>\ninformation, mainly verification reports could not be furnished as the same were<br \/>\nnot available in the records.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.       The appellant contended that the PIO was hiding the relevant facts which<br \/>\npertains to the irregularities committed by a few officials including the mis-use of<br \/>\nreservation policy for recruitment of ex-servicemen. He contended that for<br \/>\nmalafide reasons the information was refused to him.\n<\/p>\n<p>Decision:\n<\/p>\n<p>4.       The PIO&#8217;s statement that verification certificates in question are not<br \/>\ntraceable, is not acceptable. The PIO is therefore directed to search and trace<\/p>\n<p>                             If you don&#8217;t ask, you don&#8217;t get &#8211; Mahatma Gandhi<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                            1<\/span><br \/>\n the relevant documents or provide the gist verification report on the basis of<br \/>\nwhich the allegations against some employees were proved or disapproved. The<br \/>\nappellant should also be provided access to entire documents for inspection so<br \/>\nas to enable him to identify and specify the required information.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.      As pleaded by the PIO, the case is remanded back to the respondent for<br \/>\nproviding a point-wise response within one month from the date of issue of this<br \/>\ndecision. If the appellant is not satisfied with the PIO&#8217;s response, he would be<br \/>\nfree to approach the Commission again.\n<\/p>\n<p>6.
