NOs. 18195 &amp; 18502 OF 2007\n                            ---------------------\n\n                 Dated this the 19th day of June, 2007\n\n                             J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioners are stated to be the Manager and President of Parent<\/p>\n<p>Teachers&#8217; Association respectively of two educational institutions in<\/p>\n<p>Malapuram District. The identical prayer in these two writ petitions is to<\/p>\n<p>issue a direction to the Government to consider their respective applications<\/p>\n<p>for grant of sanction to start new Higher Secondary School in their<\/p>\n<p>respective localities under their management.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Learned counsel submits that in view of the order issued by the<\/p>\n<p>Government ( G.O.(P) No. 107\/07 G.Edn. Dated 13.6.07), it may not be<\/p>\n<p>necessary to deal with the various contentions raised by the petitioners.<\/p>\n<p>They only pray that an appropriate direction may be issued to the<\/p>\n<p>Government to take decision on their respective applications in terms of the<\/p>\n<p>guidelines formulated by the Government in the order referred to above.<\/p>\n<p>Learned Advocate General submits that those applications will be<\/p>\n<p>considered in the light of the order issued by the Government.<\/p>\n<p>      Therefore the writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the<\/p>\n<p>Government, respondent No.1, to consider and pass orders on Exts.P3 and<\/p>\n<p>P6 applications submitted by the petitioners strictly on their merit and in<\/p>\n<p>accordance with law in terms of the order referred to above, as<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within three months from the date of<\/p>\n<p>receipt of a copy of this judgment. Needless to mention, petitioners shall be<\/p>\n<p>afforded sufficient opportunity to be heard before any decision is taken in<\/p>\n<p>the matter. Petitioners shall produce a certified copy of this judgment along<\/p>\n<p>with a copy of the writ petition before respondent No.1 for compliance.<\/p>\n<p>                                                  A.K.
