M. SAHAI)<\/p>\n<p>We<\/a><br \/>\n\thave heard Mr. Premal R. Joshi, learned counsel for the appellant.\n<\/p>\n<p>This<br \/>\n\tIntra-Court appeal has been filed challenging the order dated<br \/>\n\t03.03.2011 passed by the learned Single Judge in Special Civil<br \/>\n\tApplication No.15532 of 2010.  The Labour Court has awarded Rs.1 Lac<br \/>\n\tas compensation for not reinstating the respondent workman and for<br \/>\n\tnot paying any back wages and the Labour Court has also deprived the<br \/>\n\tworkman from future employment.\n<\/p>\n<p>Before<br \/>\n\tthe learned Single Judge, it was urged that the compensation is<br \/>\n\texcessive and it may be reduced.  The learned Single Judge has<br \/>\n\treduced the amount from Rs.1 Lacs to Rs.74,000\/-.  In this appeal,<br \/>\n\tthe learned counsel for the appellant has urged that the amount of<br \/>\n\tRs.74,000\/- be further reduced to Rs.50,000\/-.\n<\/p>\n<p>We<br \/>\n\tare not inclined to accept the submission of learned counsel for the<br \/>\n\tappellant as the learned Single Judge has already granted<br \/>\n\tsubstantial relief to the appellant.\n<\/p>\n<p>Since<br \/>\n\tthe time to deposit the amount in pursuance of the order of the<br \/>\n\tlearned Single Judge dated 03.03.2011 has expired, therefore,<br \/>\n\tinterest of justice demands that it may be extended by another<br \/>\n\tperiod of two months.  The time to deposit the amount as per the<br \/>\n\torder of the learned Single Judge is extended for a period of two<br \/>\n\tmonths from today.\n<\/p>\n<p>Subject<br \/>\n\tto the aforesaid modification, this appeal is devoid of any merits<br \/>\n\tand it is accordingly dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<p>In<br \/>\n\tview of dismissal of appeal, Civil Application does not survive and<br \/>\n\tit is accordingly dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSd\/-\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t[V.
