Rajan, J.<\/p>\n<p> 1. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to issue patta.\n<\/p>\n<p> 2. The case of the petitioner is that civil cases have been filed between two parties and the party which succeeded in the first appeal as well as in the second appeal applied to the revenue officials as early as on 9.1.1996, to grant patta. But, even today, no order has been passed on that application is the grievance of the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p> 3. The respondents are bound to pass orders on the basis of the Civil Court&#8217;s Judgment. It is not known why the authorities have not passed orders, when there is a decision by the Civil Court, for almost eight years. It is a clear case of nepotism and inaction. It is for the first respondent to have effective control over his subordinates like second respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p> 4. In the circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 9.1.1996 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.\n<\/p>\n<p> 5.
