Pauly Mathew Muricken, the learned counsel<\/p>\n<p>appearing for the petitioners and Sri. P.C.Sasidharan, the learned<\/p>\n<p>standing counsel appearing for the University of Calicut.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   The petitioners appeared for the 3rd semester B.Tech<\/p>\n<p>degree examination in Electrical and Electronics Engineering<\/p>\n<p>conducted by the University of Calicut in March, 2009. The results<\/p>\n<p>were published in the first week of October, 2009. The petitioners<\/p>\n<p>again failed in two papers each of the said examination. They have<\/p>\n<p>therefore applied for revaluation of their answer scripts by submitting<\/p>\n<p>Exts.P1 &amp; P2 applications. It is stated that the requisite fee has also<\/p>\n<p>been paid.    They submit that they have completed their course of<\/p>\n<p>study, that they had done well in the examination and that they are<\/p>\n<p>sure to secure a pass on revaluation. On these grounds they seek a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the respondents to expeditiously revalue their answer<\/p>\n<p>scripts.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3. Sri.P.C.Sasidharan, the learned standing counsel for the<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) No. 36919\/09<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                     2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>University of Calicut submits that the University will take expeditious<\/p>\n<p>steps to revalue the petitioners&#8217; answer scripts and to communicate<\/p>\n<p>the results to them, if their applications are otherwise in order and the<\/p>\n<p>requisite fee has been paid.
