Siri Jagan, J.\n               =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=\n                      W.P(C) No. 38716 of 2010\n               =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=\n               Dated this, the 28th day of January, 2011.\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner is working as a Plumber-cum-Pump Operator in<\/p>\n<p>the Government Mental Health Center, Thrissur. The petitioner is a<\/p>\n<p>physically handicapped person.         She has been suspended from<\/p>\n<p>service on the allegations of certain misconduct.        The petitioner<\/p>\n<p>challenges the same.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. Since I was of opinion that the respondents should complete<\/p>\n<p>the disciplinary proceedings expeditiously, I directed the learned<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader to get instructions as to within what time the<\/p>\n<p>enquiry proceedings can be completed. The learned Government<\/p>\n<p>Pleader submits that the respondents would require 6 months&#8217; time<\/p>\n<p>to complete the enquiry.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3. I have considered the rival contentions.<\/p>\n<p>      In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am of opinion that<\/p>\n<p>the respondents should complete the disciplinary proceedings within<\/p>\n<p>3 months.     Accordingly,    the writ petition is disposed of with a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the respondents to see that the disciplinary proceedings<\/p>\n<p>initiated by suspending the petitioner is completed and taken to its<\/p>\n<p>logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within<\/p>\n<p>three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say the petitioner shall co-operate with the enquiry and<\/p>\n<p>be present in the enquiry on all posting days without fail. In the<\/p>\n<p>meanwhile, 1st respondent shall consider and pass orders on Ext. P7,<\/p>\n<p>a petition filed by the petitioner detailing other grievances relating to<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P(C) No. 38716\/2010            -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>her service, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within three<\/p>\n<p>months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>                                   Sd\/- S.
