He submitted<br \/>\nthat the advertisement prescribes that, &#8216;the Lecturers for Government<br \/>\nPolytechnics also should possess post-graduate qualification&#8217; as set<br \/>\nout in the advertisement by common prescription for advertisement<br \/>\nNos.154 to 198.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.2\t\tLearned Advocate<br \/>\nfor the petitioners invited attention of the Court to the guidelines<br \/>\nissued by All India Council for Technical Education (hereinafter<br \/>\nreferred to as,  AICTE ) by notification dated 05.03.2010,<br \/>\nwherein AICTE has recommended the minimum qualifications and<br \/>\nexperience for appointment of teaching posts  in Diploma level<br \/>\ntechnical institutions.  The said notification prescribes that so<br \/>\nfar as Lecturers \/Workshop Superintendents are concerned, in<br \/>\nEngineering \/Technology subjects, qualification recommended is<br \/>\nBachelor&#8217;s degree in Engineering \/Technology in the relevant branch<br \/>\nwith first class or equivalent.
