No. 36987 of 2007\n            ==========================\n             Dated this the 9th day of January, 2008.\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition filed<\/p>\n<p>under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is that further<\/p>\n<p>investigation is not being conducted by the 3rd respondent, Sub<\/p>\n<p>Inspector of Police, Edathwa notwithstanding the direction issued<\/p>\n<p>by the 2nd respondent, Superintendent of Police, Alappuzha to<\/p>\n<p>conduct further investigation in the case on the basis of Ext.P3<\/p>\n<p>representation made by the petitioner herein.<\/p>\n<p>      The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits<\/p>\n<p>that as per order dated 03.01.2008 the 2nd respondent has<\/p>\n<p>entrusted further investigation with the Circle Inspector of Police,<\/p>\n<p>Mannar and that the Circle Inspector of Police will be conducting<\/p>\n<p>further investigation in accordance with law.       Recording the<\/p>\n<p>above submission made by the Government Pleader, this writ<\/p>\n<p>petition is closed.    It is needless to mention that JFCM,<\/p>\n<p>Ambalapuzha will await the supplementary final report before<\/p>\n<p>proceeding further in C.C. No. 649\/2006.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                      V.
