Justice T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR\n\n Dated :29\/03\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                 T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J.\n              ------------------------------------------------\n                     W.P.(C)No.1119 of 2010\n              ------------------------------------------------\n            Dated this the 29th day of March, 2010\n\n                              JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioner is an applicant for admission to PG Medical<\/p>\n<p>Course.     He has approached this Court stating various<\/p>\n<p>contentions. The main prayer in the writ petition for declaration<\/p>\n<p>that limitation of weightage in marks for the qualifying<\/p>\n<p>examinations for the Post Graduate courses in medicine under<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P4 Prospectus to those who have completed difficult rural<\/p>\n<p>service alone as arbitrary.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2.    It is submitted by the learned Government Pleader<\/p>\n<p>that the matter is now covered by an interim order passed by the<\/p>\n<p>Division Bench dated 25\/3\/2010, after vacating the interim<\/p>\n<p>order. It is made clear therein that while granting weightage in<\/p>\n<p>the general merit quota, those persons who are actually in<\/p>\n<p>service alone shall be given weightage. In other words, those<\/p>\n<p>who have served or are serving under bonded obligation or<\/p>\n<p>those who have served for some time and are not presently in<\/p>\n<p>service for some reason or other, will not be entitled to get<\/p>\n<p>weightage. The said direction will govern this case also.<\/p>\n<p>     3.    Therefore what remains is the plea for the declaration<\/p>\n<p>of his result as now the result is shown as withheld.<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C)No.1119 of 2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      4.   It is submitted by the learned Government Pleader<\/p>\n<p>that the exercise as directed by the Division Bench is expected to<\/p>\n<p>be completed within a short time and along with the same the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner&#8217;s result will be announced.\n<\/p>\n<p>      5.
