SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                 ------------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C)No.30399 OF 2008\n               ----------------------------------------\n             Dated this the 17th day of December, 2008\n\n                            JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioners are retired employees of the Kerala State<\/p>\n<p>Road Transport Corporation. They filed this writ petition seeking<\/p>\n<p>a direction to the Corporation to disburse Provident Fund amount,<\/p>\n<p>Staff Welfare Fund amount, arrears of salary and festival<\/p>\n<p>allowance due to the petitioners. At the time of admission, I had<\/p>\n<p>directed the respondent to pay the Provident Fund and Staff<\/p>\n<p>Welfare Fund amount due to the petitioners within one month.<\/p>\n<p>The said amount has already been paid.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    While they were in service, the 2nd petitioner was<\/p>\n<p>imposed with punishment of bar of increment, which was later on<\/p>\n<p>modified to one of censure. As a result the 2nd petitioner became<\/p>\n<p>entitled to payment of arrears of salary on account of<\/p>\n<p>withholding of increment prior to conversion of the punishment in<\/p>\n<p>the censure.     The 2nd petitioner is also entitled to festival<\/p>\n<p>allowance for the year 2003-2004 is the claim raised. Detailing<\/p>\n<p>these    grievances,   the    2nd   petitioner  has    filed Ext.P2<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(c) No.30399\/2008             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>representation before the respondent. The petitioners seek a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2 expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.     I have heard the learned Standing Counsel<\/p>\n<p>appearing for the respondent also.\n<\/p>\n<p>      In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of<\/p>\n<p>this writ petition with a direction to the respondent to consider<\/p>\n<p>and pass orders on Ext.P2 as expeditiously as possible, at any<\/p>\n<p>rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a<\/p>\n<p>copy of this judgment.         The petitioners shall forward a<\/p>\n<p>certified copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ<\/p>\n<p>petition to the respondent for compliance.<\/p>\n<p>                                         S.
