Justice R.BASANT\n\n Dated :13\/11\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                                R.BASANT, J\n                        ------------------------------------\n                         B.A.No.6831 of 2007\n                        -------------------------------------\n             Dated this the 13th day of November, 2007\n\n                                    ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Application for regular bail.          The petitioners face allegations<\/p>\n<p>under the Kerala Abkari Act. They were allegedly found to keep in<\/p>\n<p>their possession and transport 12 litres of Indian Made Foreign<\/p>\n<p>Liquor, which is not to be sold within the State of Kerala. They were<\/p>\n<p>arrested and continue in custody from 15.10.07. The learned Public<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor     submits that the petitioners have no history of any<\/p>\n<p>criminal antecedents.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The learned counsel for the petitioners prays, the learned<\/p>\n<p>Public Prosecutor does not oppose the said prayer and I am satisfied<\/p>\n<p>that the petitioners can now be enlarged on bail subject to appropriate<\/p>\n<p>terms and conditions.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.    In the result, this application is allowed. The petitioners<\/p>\n<p>shall be released on bail on the following terms and conditions.<\/p>\n<p>      i)    The petitioners shall execute bonds for Rs.50,000\/-<\/p>\n<p>(Rupees Fifty thousand only) each with two solvent sureties each for<\/p>\n<p>the like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate;<\/p>\n<p>      ii)   The petitioners shall make themselves available for<\/p>\n<p>interrogation before the Investigating Officer between 10 a.m and 12<\/p>\n<p>noon on all Mondays and Fridays for a period of two months and<\/p>\n<p>thereafter as and when directed by the Investigating Officer in writing<\/p>\n<p>to do so.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                             (R.BASANT, JUDGE)<br \/>\nrtr\/-\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">2<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court Joy Philip vs State Of Kerala on 13 November, 2007 IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM Bail Appl No. 6831 of 2007() 1.
