Respondents\n\nPRAYER : Original Application No.8656 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to issue Mandamus directing the respondents to fill up 10% vacancies from the direct recruitment to the post of School Assistant and P.G. Assistant by promoting Secondary Grade Assistants as per G.O.Ms.No.132, Education Department, dated 21.02.1995.  Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition. \n\n\t\t     For Petitioner\t\t: Mr.S.Mani \n\t\t\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t     For Respondents\t: Mr.S.Sivashanmugam\t\t\t\t\t\t\t  Government Advocate \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\t\tOriginal Application No.8656 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to issue Mandamus directing the respondents to fill up 10% vacancies from the direct recruitment to the post of School Assistant and P.G. Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t2.The Association has also made a representation to the Teachers Recruitment Board on 16.02.1996 and 10.3.1998.  The grievance of the Association is that the representation has not been considered on merits and Government has not taken a concrete step to alleviate the grievance of the Members of the Association.  Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t3.Heard, Mr.S.Shivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who submits that the Association may be directed  to give a fresh representation along with the copy of this order, if the grievance has not been already addressed by the Government.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t4.In view of the above said submission, the petitioner&#8217;s association is permitted to make further representation in continuation with the one submitted on 16.2.1996 and 10.3.1998 and seek appropriate relief before the competent authority to redress the grievance of the petitioner, if it has already not been disposed by the Government.  Such representation shall be considered by the competent authority and disposed of within a reasonable time.  The writ petition stand disposed of accordingly.
