SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                  ----------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C)NO. 31723 OF 2006\n                --------------------------------------\n           DATED THIS THE 17th DAY OF JULY, 2007\n\n                              JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner was awarded certain works pursuant to tenders<\/p>\n<p>invited for the purpose.        Subsequently, the cost of petroleum<\/p>\n<p>products, materials of construction, labour charges etc. increased.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the petitioner wanted price escalation. Seeking the same,<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner has filed Ext.P7 representation before the Government.<\/p>\n<p>For the present, the petitioner would be satisfied with a direction to the<\/p>\n<p>2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P7<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    I have heard the learned Government pleader also. In the<\/p>\n<p>facts and circumstances of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to<\/p>\n<p>consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P7 after affording an<\/p>\n<p>opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as expeditiously as<\/p>\n<p>possible, at any rate, within three months from the date of receipt of a<\/p>\n<p>copy of this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The writ petition is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                        S.
