Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :03\/01\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                                   V.GIRI,J.\n\n                            -------------------------\n\n                       W.P ( C) No. 362  of 2008\n\n                            --------------------------\n\n                   Dated this the 3rd January, 2008\n\n\n                              J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The   petitioner   is   at   present   working   as   Manager   Gr.II<\/p>\n<p>pursuant to Exhibit P1 order   dated   3.10.2007.   Exhibit P12 is<\/p>\n<p>the   select   list   published   by   the   Convener   of   the     Departmental<\/p>\n<p>Promotion committee for the post of Manager Gr.I.  Aggrieved by<\/p>\n<p>the   fact   that   petitioner   was   not   included     in   the   select   list,<\/p>\n<p>petitioner   submitted     Exhibit   P14     statutory   representation<\/p>\n<p>thereto and the same is pending before the 3rd  respondent.  The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner also has a grievance as regards the date on which he<\/p>\n<p>was promoted to the post of Manager Gr.II, according to him, he<\/p>\n<p>ought to have been promoted earlier with effect from  23.7.2003.\n<\/p>\n<p>This   claim   is   contained   in   Exhibit   P16   pending   before   the     1st<\/p>\n<p>respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>      After   having   heard   the   learned   Government   Pleader   also,<\/p>\n<p>this writ petition is disposed of in the following terms:\n<\/p>\n<p>      i)     The  3rd  respondent shall consider Exhibit P14   and if<\/p>\n<p>the   petitioner&#8217;s   claim   is   found   to   be   acceptable,   necessary<\/p>\n<p>remedial  action shall  be taken, within one  month from the date<\/p>\n<p>W.P ( C) No. 362  of 2008<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                  2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
