Justice V.RAMKUMAR\n\n Dated :30\/03\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                             V.RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n                             ----------------------------\n\n                     Bail Application No. 1949\/2007\n\n                             -----------------------------\n\n                   Dated this  30th day of March, 2007\n\n\n                                   O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>             The petitioners,  who are accused Nos. 1 to 9 in Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.79\/2007 of Pandikkad Police Station for offences punishable<\/p>\n<p>under   Sections   143,   147,   148,   324   and   326   IPC   read   with<\/p>\n<p>Section 149 IPC, seek anticipatory bail.<\/p>\n<p>      2.     The   learned   Public   Prosecutor   opposed   the<\/p>\n<p>application.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.     The   occurrence   took   place     at   about     6.30   p.m   on<\/p>\n<p>19.3.2007,   pursuant   to   a   football   match   in   which   the   defacto<\/p>\n<p>complainant,   who   was   the   mediator     in   the   quarrel   which   took<\/p>\n<p>place   on   the   previous   day,     was   assaulted   with   iron   rod,   pipe,<\/p>\n<p>cycle   chain   etc.,   resulting   in   his   sustaining   injuries   including<\/p>\n<p>fracture of his leg.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      4.     Anticipatory   bail   cannot   be   granted   in   a   case  of   this<\/p>\n<p>nature.     There   is   no   reason   why   the   petitioners   should   not<\/p>\n<p>surrender   before   the   Magistrate   concerned   and   seek   regular<\/p>\n<p>bail.
