Justice K.BALAKRISHNAN NAIR\n\n Dated :11\/06\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                           K.BALAKRISHNAN NAIR, J.\n\n                           ------------------------------\n\n                       W.P.(C) No. 14220 of 2006-P\n\n                       -------------------------------------\n\n                   Dated this the 11th   day of June, 2007.\n\n\n                                 J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>           The   petitioner   has   approached   this   Court,   praying   inter   alia,<\/p>\n<p>challenging the appointment  of the 4th respondent as Chief Engineer,<\/p>\n<p>in   the   Thiruvananthapuram   Development   Authority   (TRIDA)   and   also<\/p>\n<p>seeking   a   direction   to   respondents   1   to   3   to   convene   DPC   and   to<\/p>\n<p>prepare     select   list   for   promotion   to   that   post.     This   Court   on<\/p>\n<p>31-5-2007 passed the following interim order.<\/p>\n<p>                 &#8220;Heard.     Respondents   2   and   3   are<\/p>\n<p>                 directed to consider whether they propose<\/p>\n<p>                 to fill up the post of Chief Engineer in the<\/p>\n<p>                 TRIDA within one month from the date of<\/p>\n<p>                 production  of a copy of this order and if it<\/p>\n<p>                 is   decided   to   fill   up   the   post,   the   DPC<\/p>\n<p>                 shall   be   convened     and   a   panel   shall   be<\/p>\n<p>                 prepared for the same within two months<\/p>\n<p>                 thereafter.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>      In   view   of   the   above   position,   the   Writ   Petition   is   disposed   of<\/p>\n<p>making the said interim order absolute.<\/p>\n<p>                                                   K.BALAKRISHNAN NAIR,<\/p>\n<p>                                                               JUDGE.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nMS<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court R.
