The Superintending Engineer\n    Tamil Nadu Water and Sewerage Board\n    Chidambaranar Kamarajar Circle\n    Koilpatti 628 501.     \t\t\t..Respondents.\n\n\n\n\nPrayer:   This writ petition is filed under Article  226  of\nthe Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ\nof  Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of  the\n2nd  respondent  in his proceedings in Letter No.6498\/EO2\/Co\n14814\/96, dated 1.6.98 and quash the same and further direct\nthe  respondents to permit the petitioner to give 1900 water\nconnections to the public as per order of the 2nd respondent\nin letter No.4004\/EO2\/14814\/96, dated 6.5.98.\n\n\n\n      For Petitioner     :  Mr.R.Balaramesh\n\n      For Respondents    :  Mr.Sudharsana Sundar (R1 &amp; R2)\n\n                              \n\n\n\n                          O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Today,  when  this  writ petition  was  taken  up  for<\/p>\n<p>hearing,  the  learned counsel appearing for the  petitioner<\/p>\n<p>had submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous.<\/p>\n<p>He has also made an endorsement to that effect.<\/p>\n<p>      2. Based on the submission made by the learned counsel<\/p>\n<p>appearing  for the petitioner and in view of the endorsement<\/p>\n<p>made,  this  writ  petition is dismissed as infructuous.
