RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n            .........................................\n                   B.A. No. 287 of 2010\n           ..........................................\n                     Dated: 29 .03.2010\n\n                             ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner who is the 3rd accused in Crime No. 666 of 2009<\/p>\n<p>of Feroke Police Station for an offence punishable under Section<\/p>\n<p>498 A IPC seeks anticipatory bail.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.<\/p>\n<p>      3.    Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this<\/p>\n<p>nature. But at the same time, I am inclined to permit the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>to surrender before the Investigating Officer for the purpose of<\/p>\n<p>interrogation and then to have his application for bail considered<\/p>\n<p>by the Magistrate having jurisdiction. Accordingly, the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>shall surrender before the investigating officer on 12.04.2010 or<\/p>\n<p>on 13.04.2010 for the purpose of interrogation and recovery of<\/p>\n<p>incriminating material,   if any.  The petitioner shall thereafter<\/p>\n<p>appear before the Magistrate concerned and file an application for<\/p>\n<p>regular bail. On being convinced that the petitioner has been<\/p>\n<p>interrogated by the police, the Magistrate shall preferably on the<\/p>\n<p>same date on which the application is filed, release the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>B.A.No.287\/2010<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 -:2:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>on   bail on the petitioner executing a bond for Rs. 25,000\/-<\/p>\n<p>(Rupees twenty five thousand only) with two solvent sureties each<\/p>\n<p>for the like amount to the satisfaction of the Magistrate and subject<\/p>\n<p>to the following conditions:-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>            1.    The petitioner       shall report before the<br \/>\n            Investigating Officer between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on<br \/>\n            all Wednesdays.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>            2. The petitioner shall make himself available for<br \/>\n            interrogation including custodial interrogation as and<br \/>\n            when required by the Investigating Officer.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>            3.    Petitioner shall not influence or intimidate the<br \/>\n            prosecution witnesses nor shall he attempt to tamper<br \/>\n            with the evidence for the prosecution.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>            4.    Petitioner shall not commit any offence while<br \/>\n            on bail.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>             5.
