Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :19\/06\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                       V.GIRI, J.\n           ------------------------------------\n             W.P.(C).No.11966 of 2009\n           ------------------------------------\n          Dated this the 19th day of June, 2009.\n\n\n                       JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>         The petitioner has approached this court for a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>to remain in India for a reasonable period till she<\/p>\n<p>obtains Emergency Passport\/Out Pass from the Embassy<\/p>\n<p>of United Arab Emirates.      The petitioner, born as a<\/p>\n<p>citizen of India, got married to United Arab Emirates<\/p>\n<p>citizen. She has three children, who are all citizens of<\/p>\n<p>United Arab Emirates.    The husband and children are<\/p>\n<p>now in United Arab Emirates. She came to India for a<\/p>\n<p>short while. She has been trying to get back to United<\/p>\n<p>Arab Emirates. She has not been issued a passport.<\/p>\n<p>         2. Though several contentions are taken up in<\/p>\n<p>the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>submits that the counter affidavit filed by the 1st<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).No.11966 of 2009<\/p>\n<p>                             :: 2 ::\n<\/p>\n<p>\nrespondent will show that the petitioner&#8217;s request is<\/p>\n<p>engaging the attention of the Ministry of External<\/p>\n<p>Affairs, Government of India.<\/p>\n<p>         3.
