Patel, learned advocate waives service of<br \/>\n\tNotice of Rule on behalf of the opponent. With the consent of the<br \/>\n\tlearned advocate for the opponent the application is taken up for<br \/>\n\thearing today.\n<\/p>\n<p>It<br \/>\n\tis informed that Mr. Pandya, learned advocate for the applicant has<br \/>\n\tfiled sick-note.\n<\/p>\n<p>Present<br \/>\n\tapplication has been taken out seeking below mentioned relief\/s<\/p>\n<p>2(A)<br \/>\nBe pleased to permit to amend the cause title of the proceedings in<br \/>\nterms as is set out in the cause title hereof by<br \/>\nsubstituting\/amending the name of the original appellant as per the<br \/>\ncause title thereof.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t(B)&#8230;..&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\n\taforesaid relief is prayed for in light of the subsequent<br \/>\n\tdevelopments in view of which the rights, functions, duties and<br \/>\n\tobligations of the erstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board have now<br \/>\n\tdevolved upon the applicant and that therefore the need for<br \/>\n\tsubstituting\/amending the name of the original petitioner has become<br \/>\n\tnecessary.\n<\/p>\n<p>Having<br \/>\n\tregard to the averments made in paragraph(1) of the application, the<br \/>\n\trelief prayed for in paragraph 2(A) is granted.\n<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\n\tpetitioner is\t permitted to substitute\/amend the name of the<br \/>\n\toriginal petitioner in the cause title. Necessary steps to carry out<br \/>\n\tthe amendment shall be taken within 15 days from today.\n<\/p>\n<p>Rule<br \/>\n\tis made absolute in terms of the above.
