At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the fourth respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, in C.M.A.No.22 of 1996, on merits, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the fourth respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, in C.M.A.No.22 of 1996, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.<br \/>\n\t\tThe writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
