RAMACHANDRA MENON, J.\n                -----------------------------------------------\n                       WP(C) No. 24538 of 2009\n                     ----------------------------------------\n               Dated, this the 5th day of January, 2010\n\n                             J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue<\/p>\n<p>involved in the Writ Petition is squarely covered by the decision in<\/p>\n<p>WP(C) 17665\/2009 and that this matter also can be disposed of in<\/p>\n<p>similar lines.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.    Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.<\/p>\n<p>       3.    In the facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is<\/p>\n<p>directed to consider the matter and to take appropriate steps to recover<\/p>\n<p>the defaulted amounts legally due to the petitioner in respect of the<\/p>\n<p>cultivation in question, from the defaulting proprietors\/cultivators of the<\/p>\n<p>concerned &#8216;padasekharam&#8217;, invoking the relevant provisions under the<\/p>\n<p>Revenue Recovery Act, of course, in accordance with law. Necessary<\/p>\n<p>steps shall be pursued as above, as expeditiously as possible, at any<\/p>\n<p>rate, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of<\/p>\n<p>this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>       The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>                                        P.
