Election to the managing committee is scheduled to take<\/p>\n<p>place on 10.01.2009. The petitioner apprehends violence.<\/p>\n<p>          3. In the above circumstances, we direct the respondents<\/p>\n<p>to afford adequate police protection for polling as well as counting<\/p>\n<p>and the police would see that sufficient protection is given to the<\/p>\n<p>voters so that they can freely cast their votes. Sufficient protection<\/p>\n<p>should also be provided for the candidates.<\/p>\n<p>          Writ petition is disposed of as above.<\/p>\n<p>                                          Sd\/-\n<\/p>\n<p>                                    (J.B.
