Justice C.T.RAVIKUMAR\n\n Dated :14\/08\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n         KURIAN JOSEPH &amp; C.T.RAVIKUMAR, JJ.\n              --------------------------------------------\n                  W.P.(C) No.22244 of 2009\n             ----------------------------------------------\n                   Dated 14th August, 2009.\n\n                           J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>          The writ petition is filed mainly with the following<\/p>\n<p>prayers :-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>                        &#8220;(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ<br \/>\n           or order directing the respondents 1 to 4 to provide<br \/>\n           adequate police protection to the petitioner in carrying out<br \/>\n           the Educational activity in its premises and also from the<br \/>\n           illegal obstructions from the members of the respondents<br \/>\n           4 to 6 organisation;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>                        (ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ<br \/>\n           or order directing the third respondent to take appropriate<br \/>\n           action upon Ext.P1 petition filed by the petitioner.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The allegation is that on account of the constant strikes<\/p>\n<p>declared by respondents 4 to 6 organizations and their<\/p>\n<p>followers, the functioning of the school is disrupted and the<\/p>\n<p>same has affected the academic activities. Despite service<\/p>\n<p>of notice, there is no appearance for the party respondents.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the writ petition is allowed in terms of the prayer<\/p>\n<p>(1) extracted above.
