Justice KURIAN JOSEPH\n\n Dated :06\/07\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                                 KURIAN JOSEPH , J\n\n                   ==================================\n\n                              W.P.(C) NO. 29460 OF 2004\n\n                   ==================================\n\n                       Dated this the 6th day of July, 2007.\n\n\n\n\n                                       JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>        The   petitioner   approached   this   Court   mainly   with   the   following<\/p>\n<p>prayers:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>        i)   issue   a   writ   of   certiorari   or   other   appropriate   writ   or<\/p>\n<p>        order   or   direction   quashing   Ext.P14   to   the   extent   it   is<\/p>\n<p>        concerned with St. Thomas L.P School at Olippara, Kairadi<\/p>\n<p>        Post, Palakkad Dist.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>         ii) issue  a writ of mandamus or other  appropriate writ or<\/p>\n<p>         order   of   direction   directing   the   respondents   to   turn   St.<\/p>\n<p>         Thomas   L.P   School   at   Olippara   as   an   aided   institution   in<\/p>\n<p>         the alternative at any rate turn this school as a recognised<\/p>\n<p>         institution.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>        It   is   stated   in   the   counter   affidavit   that   the   request   of   the<\/p>\n<p>manager   for   recognition  of  the   school   will   be   considered   on   merit   at<\/p>\n<p>the next earliest opportunity.  In the circumstances, this writ petition is<\/p>\n<p>disposed of making it clear that as and when the Government takes a<\/p>\n<p>decision   either   to   grant   the   school   in   the   aided   sector   or   to   grant<\/p>\n<p>recognised   schools   in   the   unaided   sector,   the   case   of   the   petitioner<\/p>\n<p>shall   be   considered.
