DISTRICT SUB-REGISTRAR, NAWADA.\n                                                 -----------\n<\/pre>\n<p>02.   28.07.2011                 Learned counsel for the petitioners is permitted<\/p>\n<p>                      to correct the averments made in paragraph-5 of the writ<\/p>\n<p>                      petition as counsel states that petitioner no.1 joined the post<\/p>\n<p>                      of Extra Clerk in the office of the District Sub-Registrar,<\/p>\n<p>                      Aurangabad with effect from 16.5.1983.<\/p>\n<p>                                 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed<\/p>\n<p>                      supplementary affidavit in which statement has been made<\/p>\n<p>                      that petitioner no.2 passed the departmental accounts<\/p>\n<p>                      examination in the year 2006, which is taken on record.<\/p>\n<p>                                 3. This writ petition has been filed stating that<\/p>\n<p>                      petitioners joined the office of the District Sub-Registrar,<\/p>\n<p>                      Aurangabad on the post of Extra Clerk with effect from<\/p>\n<p>                      16.5.1983 and 7.5.1983 respectively. In consideration of the<\/p>\n<p>                      satisfactory service rendered by both the petitioners they<\/p>\n<p>                      were appointed as lower division clerk with effect from<\/p>\n<p>                      1.7.2004 and joined the office of the District Sub-Registrar,<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>          Lakhisarai.\n<\/p>\n<p>                      4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that<\/p>\n<p>          till date they are serving as lower division clerk and have<\/p>\n<p>          not been considered for any promotion including time<\/p>\n<p>          bound promotion\/ACP benefit. It is further submitted that<\/p>\n<p>          period of service rendered as Extra Clerk is also to be taken<\/p>\n<p>          into account for grant of time bound promotion\/ACP<\/p>\n<p>          benefit.\n<\/p>\n<p>                      5. Let the petitioners represent before the<\/p>\n<p>          competent     authority     for   grant    of    time    bound<\/p>\n<p>          promotion\/ACP benefit by filing representation annexing a<\/p>\n<p>          copy of this order. Representation praying inter alia for<\/p>\n<p>          grant of time bound promotion\/ACP benefit be considered<\/p>\n<p>          by the competent authority, as early as possible, in any case<\/p>\n<p>          within three months from the date of its receipt. It goes<\/p>\n<p>          without saying that if petitioners are allowed promotion<\/p>\n<p>          they be paid the financial benefit accruing therefrom within<\/p>\n<p>          the same time.\n<\/p>\n<p>                      6.
