Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :15\/05\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                            ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n                          ===============\n\n                       W.P.(C) NO. 15053 OF 2007\n\n                        =================\n\n\n                Dated this the 15th day of May, 2007\n\n\n                                J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The   writ   petitioner,   a   Village   Officer,   placed   under<\/p>\n<p>suspension   by   Ext.P1   has   filed   this   writ   petition   praying   for   a<\/p>\n<p>direction   to   the   respondents   to   consider   and   pass   orders   on<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2, an application filed by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent<\/p>\n<p>praying for revokation of his suspension, contending inter alia that<\/p>\n<p>he   was   innocent   of   the   allegations   and   also   that   he   is   due   for<\/p>\n<p>retirement on 31\/5\/2007.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.     In the circumstances detailed in the writ petition, I see<\/p>\n<p>no   reason   why   Ext.P2   representation   made   by   the   petitioner,   if<\/p>\n<p>the   same   has   been   received   and   is   pending   with   the   2nd<\/p>\n<p>respondent,   should   not   be   directed   to   be   disposed   of   as<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously as possible.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.     In   the   circumstances,   this   writ   petition   is   disposed   of<\/p>\n<p>directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2<\/p>\n<p>representation   made   by   the   petitioner   as   expeditiously   as<\/p>\n<p>possible, provided the same has been received and is pending.   I<\/p>\n<p>also direct that the 2nd respondent shall take into account the fact<\/p>\n<p>WPC 15053\/2007<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                   : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>that   the   petitioner   is   due   for   retirement   on   31\/5\/2007   and<\/p>\n<p>therefore take expeditious steps for its disposal, if possible before<\/p>\n<p>31\/5\/2007 itself.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      4.
