Kulojhungan\n\nFACTS<\/pre>\n<p>:\n<\/p>\n<p>       The appellant has sought information under RTI Act by his application<br \/>\ndated 11.3.2007 regarding the particulars of the stage of the theft case occurred<br \/>\nin his residence on 28.5.2004. The PIO vide letter dated 8.4.2007 has given<br \/>\npoint-wise reply. Not satisfied the appellant preferred appeal before the AA on<br \/>\n12.4.2007. The AA has passed his order on 24.5.2007 reiterating the decision of<br \/>\nthe PIO. At the end, the AA has informed the appellant that if any clue is obtained<br \/>\nin this case in future, the case will be reopened and further investigation will be<br \/>\nconducted upon the clue. Aggrieved, the appellant preferred this appeal before<br \/>\nthe State Information Commission, which has been transferred to this<br \/>\nCommission as the State Commission was wound up. Comments were called<br \/>\nfor from the public authority, which was received on 15.2.2008.\n<\/p>\n<p>DECISION:\n<\/p>\n<p>2.     This case came up for hearing on 24.7.2008, which was attended by the<br \/>\nconcerned officials of the Department. The appellant attended the hearing in<br \/>\nperson. I have gone through the RTI application and other replies received in<br \/>\nthis connection. Both the parties were heard in detail. It is learnt during the<br \/>\nhearing that some theft has happened in the house of the appellant when the<br \/>\ninmates were not there. The neighbour seems to have made a complaint and<br \/>\nafter proper enquiry the case was closed. The appellant is aggrieved that while<br \/>\nhe is the affected party the case has been pursued at the instance of the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                                1<\/span><br \/>\n neighbour and closed also without properly consulting him. He insisted the he<br \/>\nshould be given the copy of the investigation report. It is directed that the PIO<br \/>\nshould give a copy of the investigation report to the appellant within 15 days from<br \/>\nthe date of receipt of this decision. Apart from this, if appellant could produce<br \/>\nsome more clues before the Police authorities, they can proceed further in the<br \/>\ncase.
