Giri, J.\n\n               ========================\n\n                       W.P(C).No.25300 of 2007\n\n               ========================\n\n\n           Dated this the  5th  day of September, 2007.\n\n\n                                  JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner, who was promoted as Head Clerk, was posted  at<\/p>\n<p>the   Rajakumari   Grama   Panchayath   by   Ext.P1   order.     It   is<\/p>\n<p>admitted   position   that   Ext.P1   order   is   not   under   challenge.<\/p>\n<p>According to the petitioner, subsequent vacancies of Head Clerks<\/p>\n<p>arose   in   certain   Grama   Panchayaths   in   Kottayam   District.<\/p>\n<p>Petitioner contends that he had filed Ext.P5 before the Director of<\/p>\n<p>Panchayaths   seeking   appropriate   posting   in   the   Panchayath   in<\/p>\n<p>Kottayam District for personal reasons.<\/p>\n<p>      2. It is open to the Director of Panchayaths to consider and<\/p>\n<p>take   appropriate   action   on   the   request   made   by   the   petitioner<\/p>\n<p>vide Ext.P5.   I do not express any opinion on the merits of the<\/p>\n<p>request   made   by   the   petitioner   in   this   regard.
