NO. 21058 OF 2010\n                    ----------------------------------\n              Dated this the 7th day of July, 2010\n\n                             JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>       Petitioner has filed Ext.P3 application before the        2nd<\/p>\n<p>respondent for interim custody of the vehicle seized on allegation<\/p>\n<p>of illegal transport of river sand. He seeks disposal of Ext.P3<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously. The learned Government Pleader points out that<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is not the registered owner of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>       After having heard both sides I dispose of this writ petition<\/p>\n<p>with following directions:-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>              The 2nd respondent shall consider and pass<\/p>\n<p>      orders on Ext.P3 as expeditiously as possible, at any<\/p>\n<p>      rate within two weeks from the date of receipt of a<\/p>\n<p>      copy of this judgment. It is open to 2nd respondent to<\/p>\n<p>      consider    whether,     in view of the fact that the<\/p>\n<p>      petitioner is not the registered owner of the vehicle,<\/p>\n<p>      the petitioner is entitled to interim custody.
