Chandran and Sri. Lijo Jose of<\/p>\n<p>the revenue department representing Tahsildar, Ottappalam  are<\/p>\n<p>present and heard.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      The   dispute   in   the   above   writ   petition   relates   to   a   loan<\/p>\n<p>taken by the petitioner Sri. Krishna Das from SBI, Vaniamkulam<\/p>\n<p>for agricultural purposes.  The petitioner defaulted payment and<\/p>\n<p>revenue recovery proceedings have been initiated for recovery of<\/p>\n<p>Rs. 4,49,638\/-(Rs. Four lakh fourty nine  thousand six     hundred<\/p>\n<p>and  thirty eight only) inclusive of interest @7.35% p.a.<\/p>\n<p>      The   petitioner   submits   that   he   finds   it   difficult   to   pay   the<\/p>\n<p>entire   loan.     He   is   prepared   to   pay   Rs.50,000\/-   (Rs.   Fifty<\/p>\n<p>thousand only) within one month to show his bonafides.  He will<\/p>\n<p>also make a representation to the SBI, Vaniamkulam stating that<\/p>\n<p>he  is   prepared   to   pay   an  amount   of   Rs. 3,00,000\/-   (inclusive   of<\/p>\n<p>Rs.50,000\/-) in full  and final settlement of all claims and that in<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC.No.21438\/2006                     2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>instalments.  The petitioner will make a written representation to<\/p>\n<p>the above effect to the authorities who will place the matter for<\/p>\n<p>final decision before the competent authority.  This is agreed and<\/p>\n<p>therefore   if   the   petitioner   deposits   Rs.50,000\/-   (Rs.   fifty<\/p>\n<p>thousand)   within   one   month   from   today,   the   revenue   recovery<\/p>\n<p>proceedings initiated will stand stayed for three months, during<\/p>\n<p>which   time   the   representation   made   by   the   petitioner   will   be<\/p>\n<p>considered   by   the   bank   authorities   and   appropriate   orders<\/p>\n<p>passed.
