Justice S.SIRI JAGAN\n\n Dated :13\/01\/2011\n\n O R D E R\n                             S.SIRI JAGAN, J.\n\n                       ==================\n\n                        W.P.(C).No.38453 of 2010\n\n                       ==================\n\n               Dated this the 13th day of January, 2011\n\n                             J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner is an employee of the Printing Department of the<\/p>\n<p>Government of Kerala. According to the petitioner, on account of his<\/p>\n<p>association with a union of employees of the Government of Kerala<\/p>\n<p>affiliated to the Indian National Trade Union Congress, he has been<\/p>\n<p>subjected to some disciplinary enquiry, which is at the final stage. The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is presently working in the Government press at Vazhoor in<\/p>\n<p>Kottayam       district.  The      petitioner&#8217;s   home     district   is<\/p>\n<p>Thiruvananthapuram. Because of his family circumstances, which<\/p>\n<p>includes an aged and ailing brother bedridden due to paralysis, the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is unable to shift his residence to Kottayam. Therefore, the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner presently needs a transfer to Thiruvananthapuram District.<\/p>\n<p>According      to    the   petitioner,    there    are  vacancies     in<\/p>\n<p>Thiruvananthapuram, to which, the petitioner can be accommodated.<\/p>\n<p>Seeking this relief, the petitioner has filed Exts.P2 and P3<\/p>\n<p>representations before the Chief Minister of the State of Kerala. The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner presently seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to consider<\/p>\n<p>and pass orders on Exts.P2 and P3 expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.    I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.<\/p>\n<p>       3.    I am of opinion that in the peculiar circumstances of the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">w.p.c.38453\/10                     2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>case, it is only appropriate that the 1st respondent considers Exts.P2<\/p>\n<p>and P3 expeditiously.
