Justice K.R.UDAYABHANU\n\n Dated :12\/04\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                             K.R.UDAYABHANU, J\n\n                        ---------------------------------------------\n\n                             CRL.R.P.No.1626 of 2007\n\n                         ---------------------------------------------\n\n                    Dated this the 12th day of April, 2007\n\n\n\n\n                                     O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The   revision   petitioner   stands   convicted   for   the   offence<\/p>\n<p>under Sections 323, 447 and 448 IPC ad sentenced to pay a fine<\/p>\n<p>of Rs.1,000\/- and in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for<\/p>\n<p>two months for the offence under Section 323 IPC and to pay a<\/p>\n<p>fine of Rs.500\/- and in default, to undergo simple imprisonment<\/p>\n<p>for one month for the offence under Section 447 IPC.   It is also<\/p>\n<p>directed that the fine amount of Rs.3,000\/- which should be paid<\/p>\n<p>to PW1 as compensation.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.     Counsel for the revision petitioner has only sought for<\/p>\n<p>modification of the sentence and time to remit the fine amount.<\/p>\n<p>In   the   circumstances,   the   sentence   to   pay   the   fine   amount   is<\/p>\n<p>modified   to   pay   a   fine   of   Rs.1,25,000\/-   retaining   the   default<\/p>\n<p>clause. The rest of the sentence is confirmed.   The fine amount,<\/p>\n<p>if   realised,   shall   be   paid   to   the   complainant.     The   revision<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is granted six months&#8217; time from today onwards to pay<\/p>\n<p>the   fine   amount.   He   shall   appear   before   the   Chief   Judicial<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate   Court-Thodupuzha   on   15.10.2007   to   receive   the<\/p>\n<p>crr                          Page numbers<\/p>\n<p>sentence.
