THE MINISTER OF PANCHAYATI RAJ, MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS AND MINISTER OF DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH EASTERN REGION (SHRI MANI SHANKAR AIYAR): Sir, I beg to lay a statement on the status of implementation of comments contained in the 169th Report of the Standing Committee on Human Resource Development (14th Lok Sabha) in pursuance of the direction 73A of the hon. Speaker, Lok Sabha vide Lok Sabha Bulletin \u2013 Part II, dated 1st September, 2004.\n<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The 169th Report of the Standing Committee on Human Resource Development was laid in the Lok Sabha on 13.12.2005. The Report relates to the action to be taken by the Government on the comments of the Committee.\n<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The present status of implementation of various comments made by the Committee is indicated in the Annexure to my statement, which is laid on the Table of the House. I would request that this may be considered as read.\n<\/p>\n
