Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :10\/06\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                          V.GIRI, J\n                        -------------------\n                   W.P.(C).17270\/2008\n                        --------------------\n            Dated this the 10th day of June, 2008\n\n                        JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner, who is working as Senior Assistant in the<\/p>\n<p>Electrical Section, Manarcad in Kottayam District,          is<\/p>\n<p>aggrieved by Ext.P1 order of transfer by which she has<\/p>\n<p>been transferred from Electrical Section Office, Manarcad,<\/p>\n<p>to the Electrical Circle, Trichur.           Pressing personal<\/p>\n<p>difficulties have been pointed out by the petitioner as<\/p>\n<p>against the order of transfer. It is inter alia pointed out<\/p>\n<p>that her husband is working abroad and she lives with her<\/p>\n<p>in-laws and two children.          Her transfer resulted in a<\/p>\n<p>situation that there is nobody to look after her in-laws and<\/p>\n<p>two young children.        She seeks a posting back        in<\/p>\n<p>Kottayam District.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>2.    I heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the<\/p>\n<p>learned Standing Counsel for the PSC. I have perused<\/p>\n<p>Exts.P2 and P3 as well.\n<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).17270\/2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>3.   In the result, writ petition is disposed of directing<\/p>\n<p>the second respondent to consider Ext.P3 representation<\/p>\n<p>and the petitioner&#8217;s request for a posting back in<\/p>\n<p>Kottayam District or in a station which is nearer to her<\/p>\n<p>native district.
