Respondents\n\n        This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of\nIndia, praying this Court to issue a writ of Certiorarified  Mandamus  calling\nfor  the  records  of  the  first respondent in Letter No.CEP\/ NOC\/II-2005-06,\ndated 5.4.2005 and quash the same and direct the second respondent  herein  to\nprocess  the  application  dated  27.11.2004  of  the  petitioner  herein  for\nintroduction of additional courses viz., B.  Tech (B.T.) and B.E.   (BME)  and\nincrease  of intake in an existing course  B.Tech (I.T) in the year 2005-2006\nbased on the inspection held on 30.1.2005.\n\n!For Petitioner         :       Mr.V.R.Rajasekaran\n\nFor 1st Respondent     :       M\/s.G.M.Mani Associates\n\nFor 2nd Respondent      :       Mr.T.S.Sivagnanam,\n                                ACGSC\n\n\nP.  SATHASIVAM, J.   \n\n:O R D E R \n<\/pre>\n<p>        In view of the amended notification dated  6.1.2005,  this  Court  has<br \/>\nquashed  similar  impugned  order  (vide orders passed in W.P.No.13897 of 2005<br \/>\ndated 26.4.2005).  It  is  not  in  dispute  that  in  terms  of  the  amended<br \/>\nregulations issued under notification dated 6.1.2005, No Objection Certificate<br \/>\nis required only from the University and not from the State Government.\n<\/p>\n<p>        2.      Therefore  the  impugned  letter  No.CEP\/NOC\/II-2005-06, dated<br \/>\n5.4.20 05 is set aside with liberty to the second  respondent  to  pass  fresh<br \/>\norders in the context of the amended regulations on or before 31st May, 2005.\n<\/p>\n<p>        3.      The writ  petition  is  disposed  of  accordingly.
