KOSHY and T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, JJ.\n<\/p>\n<p>                   &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-\n<\/p>\n<p>                    W.P.(C) No. 3831 of 2007 F<\/p>\n<p>                   &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-\n<\/p>\n<p>            Dated this the 12th day of February, 2007<\/p>\n<p>                                Judgment<\/p>\n<p>             This   is   a   petition   alleging   police   harassment.\n<\/p>\n<p>According to the petitioner, he is doing  the business of<\/p>\n<p>producing   feature   films,   copyright   purchase   of   feature<\/p>\n<p>films   and   manufacturing   and   marketing   of   Video   Audio<\/p>\n<p>cassettes   and   Compact   Discs.     Because   of   the   constant<\/p>\n<p>harassment,   he   is   unable   to   do   the   business   and   9,636<\/p>\n<p>original   CDs   were   seized.     Director   General   of   Public<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutions   submitted   that   the   above   CDs   were   seized<\/p>\n<p>suspecting   that   there   is   violation   of   Copyright   and<\/p>\n<p>produced   before   the   Magistrate&#8217;s   Court   and   it   is   stated<\/p>\n<p>that   the   matter   should   be   examined.   If   it   is   found   that<\/p>\n<p>there   is   no   copyright   violation,     the   CDs   taken   into<\/p>\n<p>custody should be returned to the petitioner.
