JOSEPH, J.\n\n                            --------------------------------------\n                              Crl.R.P.No.2110 of 2009\n                            --------------------------------------\n                    Dated this the 10th day of August, 2009.\n\n                                         ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>       This revision is in challenge of judgment of learned I Additional Sessions<\/p>\n<p>Judge, Ernakulam in Crl.Appeal No.28 of 2008                    confirming conviction but<\/p>\n<p>modifying sentence of petitioner\/accused for offence punishable under Section<\/p>\n<p>324 of the Indian Penal Code.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.    Petitioner\/accused           and      defacto       complainant\/injured filed<\/p>\n<p>Crl.M.A.No.7743 of 2009 reporting settlement and seeking permission to<\/p>\n<p>compound the offence.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.    It is seen from Crl.M.A. No.7743 of 2009 that parties have settled<\/p>\n<p>the dispute out of court. Offence proved against the petitioner is compoundable<\/p>\n<p>with permission of the court. There is no reason to think that the composition is<\/p>\n<p>not voluntary.    Hence permission is granted and Crl.M.A.No.7743 of 2009 is<\/p>\n<p>allowed.
