SIRI JAGAN, J.\n\n                      -----------------------------------\n\n                       W.P.(C)NO. 32734 OF 2006\n\n                   ---------------------------------------\n\n            DATED THIS THE 13th DAY OF APRIL, 2007\n\n\n                                    JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner is challenging proceedings under the Securitisation<\/p>\n<p>and   Reconstruction   of   Financial   Assets   and   Enforcement   of   Security<\/p>\n<p>Interest   Act,  2002.    Purely  as  a matter  of  indulgence, this  court  has<\/p>\n<p>granted   the   petitioner   an   order   of   stay   on   payment   of   part   of   the<\/p>\n<p>amount.   The petitioner  did not comply with the  same. In the above<\/p>\n<p>circumstances, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition for the<\/p>\n<p>following reason.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       It   is   settled   law   that   proceedings   under   the   Securitisation   and<\/p>\n<p>Reconstruction   of   Financial   Assets   and   Enforcement   of   Security<\/p>\n<p>Interest Act  has to be challenged in appeal before the Debt Recovery<\/p>\n<p>Tribunal as provided under the Act itself and petition under Article 226<\/p>\n<p>challenging the same cannot be ordinarily entertained.  In view of the<\/p>\n<p>said legal position, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition and<\/p>\n<p>accordingly the same is dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                 S.
