SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                ------------------------------------\n                W.P.(C)Nos. 10724 OF 2008 &amp;\n                         10858 of 2008\n              ----------------------------------------\n                Dated this the 1st day of April, 2008\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     In these two writ petitions, the petitioners are P.D. Teachers<\/p>\n<p>temporarily promoted as HSAs (Physical Science).        They have<\/p>\n<p>approached this Court when they were sought to be reverted to<\/p>\n<p>the post of P.D. Teachers.     The petitioners&#8217; contention is that<\/p>\n<p>going by the cadre strength of HSA (Physical Science) and going<\/p>\n<p>by the quota prescribed for appointment by promotion, there are<\/p>\n<p>vacancies, which have to be earmarked for filling up by<\/p>\n<p>promotion from P.D. Teachers and therefore, before considering<\/p>\n<p>the claim of the petitioners for promotion they shall not be<\/p>\n<p>reverted. In W.P.(C) No.10724\/08 the petitioner has filed Ext.P6<\/p>\n<p>representation in this regard.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2.    I have heard the learned Government Pleader also. I<\/p>\n<p>am of opinion that before the petitioners are reverted, their claim<\/p>\n<p>for regular promotion should be considered and decided. In the<\/p>\n<p>above circumstances, these two writ petitions are disposed of<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(c)Nos.10724\/08 &amp; 10858\/08   2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>with the following directions.\n<\/p>\n<p>      In W.P.(C) No.10858\/08, the petitioner shall file a<\/p>\n<p>suitable representation as done by the petitioner in W.P.(C)<\/p>\n<p>No.10724\/08 within two weeks from today. The Government<\/p>\n<p>of Kerala shall consider Ext.P6 in W.P.(C) No.10724\/08 and the<\/p>\n<p>representation to be filed by the petitioner in W.P.(C)<\/p>\n<p>No.10858\/08 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a<\/p>\n<p>period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of<\/p>\n<p>this judgment. Till orders are so passed, the petitioners shall<\/p>\n<p>not be reverted. The question as to whether they shall be<\/p>\n<p>reverted or not, shall be decided in accordance with the order<\/p>\n<p>to be passed by the Government as directed above.<\/p>\n<p>                                        S.
