Kuriakose, J<\/p>\n<p>      Even though several attractive grounds have<\/p>\n<p>been raised in this appeal and the learned Senior<\/p>\n<p>Government      Pleader    Smt.R.Bindu       addressed<\/p>\n<p>arguments on the basis of all those grounds, we<\/p>\n<p>do not find justification for entertaining this<\/p>\n<p>appeal. The property was situated in Dharmadam<\/p>\n<p>village and the purpose of acquisition was<\/p>\n<p>construction of approach road to Dharmadam<\/p>\n<p>Bridge. The acquisition was pursuant to Section 4<\/p>\n<p>(1) notification published in January, 2005. The<\/p>\n<p>Land Acquisition Officer awarded land value at the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">L. A. A. No.550 of 2010        -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      rate of Rs.22,048\/- per cent. The Reference Court<\/p>\n<p>      re-fixed the same at Rs.50,000\/- per cent. This<\/p>\n<p>      was done on the basis of Ext.A1, a document of<\/p>\n<p>      1998. The property covered by Ext.A1 was<\/p>\n<p>      situated at a distance of 50 metres away from the<\/p>\n<p>      acquired property. We are of the firm view that<\/p>\n<p>      the reliance placed on Ext.A1 was justified.<\/p>\n<p>      Additions given actually are not sufficient when we<\/p>\n<p>      notice that seven years&#8217; time has passed. At any<\/p>\n<p>      rate, there is no warrant for interference at the<\/p>\n<p>      instance of the Government. The appeal is<\/p>\n<p>      dismissed in limine.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                    PIUS C.
