4   2.7.2008                  Heard learned counsel for the appellants and learned<\/p>\n
                    counsel for the Union of India in all the three appeals.<\/p>\n
                              On going through the materials on record it is found that<\/p>\n
                    according to prosecution case 511 kg of contraband Ganja was found<\/p>\n
                    loaded on a truck on which all the three appellants were found present<\/p>\n
                    in the capacity of driver, cleaner and alleged owner of the scrapped<\/p>\n
                    goods in which the contraband Ganja was concealed. The quantity<\/p>\n
                    recovered is much more than the commercial quantity and the trial<\/p>\n
                    court has found the appellants guilty of offence under the NDPS Act<\/p>\n
                    and awarded 15 years rigorous imprisonment and also fine.<\/p>\n
                              In the facts of the case, the prayer of the appellants for bail<\/p>\n
                    is rejected at this stage. Let hearing of the appeals be expedited.<\/p>\n
